Trading its TurboMax engine for an electric powertrain, the 2025 GMC Sierra EV brings the future of trucking to Muskogee. The electric pickup truck is ready to turn your next long haul into a breeze with its outstanding range and semi-autonomous driving mode.

Electric Powertrain

The Sierra EV is powered by a dual motor setup, zapping 760 hp and 785 lb-ft of instant electric torque. Each motor sits on a different axle, forming a traction-rich electric all-wheel drive system that effectively transfers all of the pickup truck’s horses to the tarmac. When put to the test, the Sierra EV launches from 0 to 60 mph in less than 4.5 seconds and tows an outstanding 10,500 lbs.

Outstanding Driving Range

In its base configuration, the Sierra EV offers an impressive 390 miles of range, already beating the fully upgraded driving range most competitors offer. With the Extended Range Battery, you can drive an incredible 460 miles on a single charge, allowing you to travel between states without stopping to recharge.

You can plug the Sierra EV into any of the approximately 250,000 public chargers that are available to GM EV drivers. Connecting the truck to a DC fast charger gets you back on the road in a flash, adding 100 miles of driving range in only 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can charge the electric pickup truck at home by plugging it into a GM PowerUp or a GM Energy PowerShift Charger.

Tech-Forward Cockpit

A digitized cockpit with multiple HD screens simplifies driving. You can monitor important vehicle information through the digital gauge cluster or the available 14-inch diagonal head-up display. A 16.8-inch infotainment system with a customizable viewing experience provides navigation assistance and entertainment. With OnStar Basics, which comes standard on the Denali EV, the driver also has access to remote commands, Google Assistant, Alexa Built-in, Google Maps, and much more.

Advanced Driver Assistance

The Sierra EV features more than 15 safety and driver assistance features to get you safely to your destination. Some of these technologies include enhanced automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian and bicyclist braking, forward collision alert, following distance indicator, and IntelliBeam.

The pickup truck also comes equipped with Super Cruise, which handles most of the driving on compatible highways. Drivers can engage the semi-autonomous driving mode by activating adaptive cruise control and pressing the Super Cruise button on the steering wheel. The system keeps the vehicle centered in the lane using LiDAR map data, GPS, onboard cameras, and multiple sensors.
