The 2025 GMC Sierra EV is one of the most versatile trucks you can drive today. With a towing capacity of up to 12,500 lbs and 1,800 lbs of payload capacity, it can tow and haul like a gas-powered, full-size truck.
Hands-Free Driving Assistance
Driving across the country is not always fun, especially when you have to cover miles along boring stretches of the Interstate. This is where the Sierra EV’s innovative Super Cruise technology steps in, so you can sit back and enjoy the ride with your hands off the steering wheel.
The service pairs with OnStar and uses advanced LiDAR map data, sensors, and real-time cameras to maintain control of the vehicle on over 200,000 miles of compatible roads. GMC’s Super Cruise steering wheel, which is standard across the lineup, has a lightbar that makes it easy to know when you enter and exit the various hands-free zones.
4-Wheel Steer
Maneuvering a full-size truck across narrow trails or in tight parking lots is easy when you’re driving the Sierra EV. The 4-Wheel Steer mode syncs the wheels to reduce the turning radius for easier cornering, turning, and parking. This mode also includes CrabWalk, a drive mode that aligns the wheels so that you can drive diagonally across narrow trails.
MultiPro Technology
With the Sierra EV, loading and unloading the bed is also a lot easier compared to other trucks, thanks to the standard MultiPro tailgate. This innovative tailgate has six functions, including a full-width step for easy bed access and an inner gate work surface that can double as a sitting bench. Primary gate and inner gate load stops allow you to transport long cargo, such as plywood boards, with the gate locked open.
For added versatility, this truck also boasts a MultiPro midgate that allows you to extend the bed into the cabin with the rear seats folded. The two MultiPro gates allow you to customize the bed length for items up to 10’10” long.
Max Power Mode
Another innovative feature is the Max Power Mode, which is a performance system that allows you to unlock more horsepower and torque for enhanced acceleration. Depending on the battery pack, with this mode active, your truck can sprint to 60 miles per hour from a standstill in less than 4.5 seconds.
Off-Grid Power Systems
This electric truck can also double as a power generator for your home or campsite. The Vehicle-to-Home capability enables it to provide energy for your home during blackouts. You also get 10.2 kW of off-boarding power, which is more than enough for firing up multiple power tools at once, powering an outdoor audio system, and more.
