2025 GMC Canyon

The 2025 GMC Canyon has three trims: Elevation, AT4, and Denali. The Elevation is the base model and provides an excellent foundation with its bold front grille and LED lighting elements. If you're an off-roading fan, the AT4 adds a four-wheel-drive system featuring an automatic locking rear differential and advanced hill-descent control. The available AT4X package further increases off-road capability by adding 33-inch mud terrain tires and a 3-inch factory lift. The premium Denali trim makes a sophisticated statement with 20-inch diamond-cut aluminum wheels and chrome exterior accents. All trims benefit from an ultra-wide front and rear track that improves overall stability. The 2025 model year introduces three striking new exterior colors: Glacier Metallic, Desert Sun, and Rapids Metallic.

GMC has given the 2025 Canyon one powerful engine, the Duramax Turbo-Diesel. This turbocharged 2.7-liter I-4 engine generates 310 horsepower and an impressive 430 pound-feet of torque. It pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission, delivering smooth and responsive performance. The combination provides excellent throttle response for daily driving while maintaining enough muscle to handle heavy-duty tasks. The GMC Canyon has a 7,700-pound maximum towing capacity.

The AT4X AEV accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 7.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 101 mph. The AT4 and Denali trims have four selectable drive modes — Off-Road, Terrain, Tow/Haul, and Normal — allowing you to optimize performance for specific conditions. The AT4X adds an exclusive Baja mode for high-speed desert driving. The AT4’s advanced hill-descent control means you can confidently navigate steep grades, while the Auto Trac two-speed transfer case, available on AT4 and Denali trims, delivers precise power distribution.

The GMC Canyon's interior space is thoughtfully designed and includes up-to-the-minute technology. The central command center is an 11.3-inch touch-screen infotainment system offering wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility across all trims. All trims have an 11-inch digital gauge cluster. Audio enthusiasts will appreciate the AT4X's seven-speaker Bose audio system. The Denali adds a 6.3-inch multicolor head-up display and wireless charging capabilities for you and your passengers.

The standard GMC Pro Safety suite provides you with layers of protection. This comprehensive package includes forward collision alert with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist across all trims.
